Generally speaking, if your just doing programming and such you dont really need a 7950x. 13th gen has done a bit better with them. If you ever want to go to a 4x16 stick, your gonna want to go intel as Ryzen 7000 has been quite unhappy when dealing with 4 sticks of ram. I will be buying two more monitors in the future likely adopting the OLED technology, potentially investing into 4k. I currently run two monitors: one 27 inch 1440p 144hz monitor and another 24 inch 1080p 60 hz monitor. I do see myself upgrading these RAM sticks in the future when they are a significant performance improvement at a reasonable price and of course RGB.
